Bloody Blackouts

He knew he was innocent.

He knew he couldn't have been the one to pull the trigger.

He loved the dumb jerk.

Sure, he was an annoying roommate but he'd never kill him!

He'd moved Bill's body into the parking lot and called the cops.

Let them figure out what happened at the Halloween party. He was too drunk to figure it out right then. Maybe he could help them after he got some sleep.

He felt something wet and sticky on his hands and, without turning on the bathroom light, washed it off with the cup of water on the dresser.

He put his head down to sleep. His pillow seemed lumpier then usual.

Damn kid must have hid another toy under the pillow again.

He tossed it, whaever it was, across the room and heard a gunshot go off.

Then he blacked out again.
