Ultra conservative politics of destruction is finally coming home to roost. The Clintons got it, The Kerry's got it and now it has picked on the wrong target. Someone with inside connection to wage a ferrocious counter attack. The Plames may never get there life back, but by God, Uncle Sam will be made to pay for it.

This is a scandal that reaches to the highest level of American Govt. Classified information was deliberately "leaked" to reporters for the sole purpose of recklessly discrediting a citizen who "disagrees" with a hawkish intent to ramp up the war on terror by invading another sovereign nation. This decision together combined with the leak continues to do damage to America's security economically and morally. Young lives are laid to waste in foreign lands so that Haliburton, KBR and others can earn multi-billion dollar contracts and profits. This is a crime against America and all it stands for.

An informed electorate is America's best survival remedy.

Ultracon and EO: I think this case will really open up an a wider look into the entirety of the Bush administration's policies and methods. That, I think, can only be a good thing, as will a shifting of the status quo.

alethinos -- Thanks, but really the thanks goes to all you have contributed to this master post!

I'm wondering, though, whether it makes sense to include dated pieces -- articles superceded by more recent events.

This includes a couple of my posts Eric has noted.

I do like the idea, though.
