Goodbye and Good Riddance to Peyton Manning and the Colts
Old school, hard-nosed football fans can rejoice as Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts have been eliminated from the playoffs by proponents and practitioners of old school, hard-nosed football, the Pittsburgh Steelers. Earlier this week Pittsburgh linebacker Joey Porter had the...

Steelers Win Over Colts Is Scientific Evidence Of Male Mood Swings
Pittsburgh Steelers 21 - Indianapolis Colts 18 Women can change emotion inexplicably at any time, and during the Pittsburgh-Indianapolis game, it was proven that men are capable of this as well. For the majority of the game, Pittsburgh and Ben Roethlisberger...

Denver Broncos Literally Playing Like It's 1999
Denver Broncos 27 — New England Patriots 13 When a basketball player commits a foul, they raise their hand in admittance of fault. Well, that's what I'm doing. I picked the Patriots to win tonight, but the overlooked, written-off Denver Broncos...

The Green Bay Packers' Curious Choice of a New Head Coach
Based on intuition and a quick scan of the statistics of measurable success I do not believe that I would have chosen Mike McCarthy as an NFL head coach as the Green Bay Packers did yesterday. As a quarterback coach for...

The NFL's Best Players, Based on Value in Scrabble
I'll be honest and upfront about this: I have no clue where I got this idea. The following selection contributes nothing to society. It is, through and through, a waste of my time and yours. Still, there may be some underlying...

You got it RJ -- this'll be a one stop shop for football gaming all season long!
So, when I type "NFL" in Google, this post should come up in the top ten by November, right? :)
Hey, it's something to shoot for!
It'll likely be up there somewhere on Google News for a bit, which ain't bad.
Ask and ye shall receive... though it sometimes takes a little while.
Randy Moss never looked better in that Raiders jersey.
I'm sure not a Raiders fan, but having the league's coolest, most exciting player in the league's coolest jersey is fun. I kinda want a black Moss jersey now.
That is all.
Back in the days when I worked for a community sports website, I wrote a piece on Moss and Jason Williams (the hotshot point guard who played for Memphis the last time I checked). They grew up in the same town in West Virginia, and actually played both basketball and football together for a spell.
It was interesting but not a little bit weird to talk to their old high school coaches and teacher. All professed the two to be nice, quiet kids, though they both dealt (and are dealing) with trouble alongside sports mega-success.
I don't really have a favorite NFL team. But watching him Sunday night, he looked right at home.
J-Will still plays for Memphis.
I remember Randy Moss catching passes from Chad Pennington at Marshall against Toledo in the MAC Championship.
patriots rule and they will win again this years bet on that SON (eagles SUCK)
I need to take a week off just to go through the links! Thanks.
