I think anyone who doesn't appreciate Jim and the Doors are idiots. Jim had everything going for him, ya know. I just wish he would've lived longer. I couldn't imagine what kinda songs we'd have now that he'd be sixty something. And he'd probably still sound and look amazing. I don't see where some of ya can't find meaning in his songs. It's almost immediate for me. And I just love his voice! I've never heard such a deep voice sound that fucking good! I still can't see that voice coming from him, but I sure don't mind staring at him for awhile trying! He's one of my biggest heroes, and he always will be. God bless you, Jim. You're one of His angels now.

Jim Morrison,is not dead.He's still alive to some people.he was a poet,he was a great one too,his music set people free,he was a wonderful creature,a creative human being.I really appreciate his music,also his existance,he died so young,I ask myself why.god always takes the best ones,i don't think that's fair,but hey...shit happens,we all love James Douglas Morrison,asshole or no asshole:] R.I.P:] J.D.M<33333

JIM was who he was. I am beginning to understand why he was a sanctuary within himself- because of all the harsh judgement and criticism. If you do not get Jim- you do not get JIM and you probably will never get Him. Try to put a damper on the negative comments- please be mature, it causes one to think you may be envious of someone so strong, spiritual and lively.

He majored in film studies at UCLA, not English. Speaking of Jim and English class, though, I remember that my 10th grade English grammar book used the term "Morrison Hotel" in an exercise. It was in a group of terms we were supposed to label as proper nouns, adjectives, etc. At the time I thought that was so cool and that some Doors fan at the publishing company had sneaked it into the book.
