ok everyone is like going crazy for the songthat snow used for her 45 second dance off. Well I heard it and fell in love with it so I had to get it. After lots of research I've found it. Everyone keeps saying it's the black eyed peas "Dum diddly" It is'nt. Second everyone keeps saying it's be dj assualt. Close, he did use a song call dim da da but it's not it. I've found out that it's actaully a 6 minute 19 second remix called Din Daa Daa (US MIX) by Goerge Kranz. I've heard the ones mentioned before and they were'nt it. And as for the show, being a dancer myself I'm hoping for Craig to Win, not only is he a fab dancer but is also extremely HOT!!! Artem disappointed me when asked to dance for 45 seconds. I felt that he could do way better b-cuz really astounded me when he danced with his partner in the lyrical dance!

I am so upset that Jonnis got cut :( I cried! I hope that I see him dancing somewhere. He was one of my favorites!!! Blake is a really good dancer and I also think melody is too, but I was not impressed with her hip-hop routine. I actually started laughing and couldnt stop, neither of them really pulled off hip-hop. Ryan and I think her name is Megan, really do great and they always impress me. I don't think it is really fair that some of the dancers danced with the same partner and some with the same music. I hope they don't keep that up.

Puzzle Solved - The SUTUCD Theme Song!!

Hi everyone...

I read a while back browsing around that there were lots of requests about the "So you think you can dance theme song!". Just to clarify we are talking about the jingle at the beginning of the show when the credits are rolling and you can see shadows of the individual competitors dancing their style! The beginning of the jingle is a cover of the "Greedence Clearwater Revival" Song "Up Around The Bend"! The producers sped up the beginning of this old classic a little, but it is the exact same melody! The rest is just random mixed beats to make it a catchy jingle for the show. Kind of the same concept like the American Idol theme jingle. Not really a song, but catchy and long enough to identify the show.

Sorry not to view last week, but I made the decision that the show is just too much hype, talk and recap of earlier happenings. So I stayed away. Yet the consept is wonderful and the talent exceptional. So much for commercialization - this channel has more breaks. time outs and ads than any other.

I just want to know .. I like this show and enjoy watching people dance.. or not dance. But why .. why do the judges have to go over and beyond to be cruel to the people they think were bad? It's like it's enuf to say they suck or they're not right for this competition, but to say they're hidious and you're going to give them nightmares now and just over and beyond than what they have to, to make a point. Why be so hurtful? People dance because they enjoy it, and they really try... but if they suck, fine. So be it and say it if you have to that way.. by why do they have to be so much meaner than that? That's the only reason,if I stop watching this show, it would be the reason I stop. I really enjoy peoples' styles though, so I dn't want to, but I'm getting offended myself, and I'm not even trying to dance for them. I dont' get it. Do the people get warned first that they might be humiliated by them on public TV? If so.. then okay... they were warned... but it doesn't look like they were.. and that offends me. I feel for them. And I'm sure a lot of people feel that way about the judges.. theyre' way worse then Simon Cowell. WAY MEANER, CRUELER.. and with no reason. I wish someone could enlighten me on this ..please.

I agree. I have had it with the cruelty of this show. If the producers don't want people who can't dance, then don't have an open call or have a non-taped prelim. All the judges make faces and laugh and insult. It is enough to say, "You are not what we are lookng for" and leave it at that. Even the host insults people and the show uses tape pieces to make fun of contestents. This show is snarky and smart -ss

If it was about dance, they would show more people that pass on to Vegas rather than those who are freaks.

If this show was about dance, they wouldn't cut cameras so much and let us see the dancers better

If this show was about dance they would stop cutting away from the dancers to show us judge reactions shots.

This show is disrespectful, smart-assed and cruel and I am not watching any more of it.

They may have some people who audition who are untalented and deluded but the show producers, host and judges are abusive and mean-spirited and have lost me as a viewer.

I agree with you Ginger. It was easy to teach my grandchildren the concept of cruelty and unkindness. I just sat them down for this last episode of the show. They said, "Now grandma, we understand." It is stated before this blog, "personal attacks are not allowed". What a joke, that is the concept of the show's ratings. No more watching it for me.

This reality show is the epitome of blatant disregard of people's dreams. People working hard for years being told they are lousy and personal attacks. So what if they are not pro at dancing, they deserve respect. The judges are pro dancers, yes, but the have no respect for common decency and for the human heart.

They apparently have a problem with getting good dancers to come try out, maybe they don't want to come out and be made fun of, I wonder perhaps as time goes on, they will have empty lines. Serves them right.

I felt so sorry for the oriental girl that broke and cried; as I could see her being so naive and sensitive; she is in a country that I happen to love but is dog-eat-dog here and it is the buck, that is what counts. Forget emotions, dreams, kindness, and get trampled on. I absolutely agreed with what she said when she cried. And you wonder why other countries are frowning on America!

This show should be called,"So you think you can dance, well you can't, but you can sure as hell come and get laughed at, so we can make a buck!"

2006, I'm watching the show 'cause I love dance, not because I want to see the worst dancers vomiting. Nigel may have the power, but he's misusing it. He doesn't have the right to squash the hearts of people who love dance. He can say, 'thanks for sharing,' and move on. If he had some sense of humor about his souls assaults, it might be more digestible. As it is, no one is there to challenge his negativity and he's sucking much of the fun out of it for me.

That was not right booting off Benji. His hip-hop was comparable to his partner's. Only styles were stated to be dissimilar during the judges' critique. Maybe his speech was lacking. So what? Some people express themselves better through the dance media instead of through words. I think this is true of Benji. His dance brought drama and feeling to his audience. His fight to learn and perform unfamiliar styles {and do them well] is at the heart of this entertainment. It was a sad moment tonight to loose this dancer and break up this pair. Jamz's freestyle felled him off the stage and it lacked technique. Why wasn't that brought out? I feel Nigel is not impartial enough to be on the panel of judges. He obviously wins his own way throughout this competition including who is eliminated. The other judges appear to not want to step on his toes. His opinion comes first and he has the final word too. I have never written on any message board before but felt this audience of one needs to speak up for what is right.

Ben was eliminated. Benji is still going strong. Benji's partner is Donyelle, and Ben's was Ashlee. I agree, though, that Ben should have gotten to stay. It sucks that any of those three gents had to solo dance to try to stay. I also thought Jason's elimination was unfounded. He was AMAZING!!! I wish I could watch his and Alexandra's "smiley dance" over and over. Pretty sure this group could become a dance crew all together and go farther than any individual might. I loved it!!!

i know i'm kinda late on the comment, but i gotta say, i'm really disappointed jaymz was sent home. honestly, i think he's one the top 3 guyz on the show, behind travis and benji. his versatility and performance are unmatched. every dance he's been given he's performed well. the only thing he was lacking was his solo's. but i don't think his poor solo's can take away from everything else he did and brings to the show.

Natalie and Ivan were voted off. I thought it should have been Donyelle instead of Natalie... cuz Donyelle has NO ballet abilities or anything. She just does Hip hop and jumping around like a little kid. I don't see any technical skills in her dancing. Poor cute Natalie!!

Donyelle is a great dancer! She definately deserves to be in the top 4. Just for info, Donyelle is a trained Hip Hop/ Contemporary dancer. Natalie is also a great dancer but she also is not a trained ballet dancer. She is also a trained contemporary dancer. Her injury also limited her performance. Natalie is good but don't take credit away from Donyelle.

i think travis should win! allison should have been the top girl though. She shouldn't have been kicked off she was a good dancer.

P.S. y aren't there any tappers. i mean the whole point is to be a well rounded dancer so y dont they tap. b sides tap is awesome to watch.

If they had tap, they would have to have people who could do that Riverdance kind of dancing. That can be cool to watch, but I don't think many Americans would like it. Most people these days seem to be obsessed with hip-hop (but I think hip-hop is annoying)

personally i think that travis should win cause hes like the best at most styles of dance. benji is like only good at swing, donyelle like hip hop and heidi swing and latin but travis is good at all so he should win

It's interesting how I can just imagine each of them doing different things after this. like movies, broadway shows, musicals, etc. I could honestly see benji in a broadway, travis in a movie like StepUp, or natalie being in a band like BlackEyedPeas!

Anyways, could you guys do me a favour and vote for benji for me? I'm in Canada, I can't vote from here!!!

hey guys..i personally think the top 4 should have been benji,travis,heidi and allison.I think allison is a lot more versatile than donyelle..Did u see her when she did the argentinian tango with ivan (twice) and they were awesome..Donyelle seems like the pressure is hitting her..her form has fallen each week except when she is doing her lyrical/contemporary dances.

travis did well on all of his performances. on the last group routine, the judges told travis that he seemed to stand out from them all.
however, i agree with whoever said it before that he seems to be doing just slightly diff variations of his solo each time and it's getting boring. benji, i think is the one who seems to be trying the MOST. and his dive in the solo, lol that was great!

I think the top four should have been travis, benji, allison, natalie.
Except natalie seemed to die out a little (but her solos were always amazing), SO heidi instead of natalie. sorry donyelle's good, but i just don't think it's top 4.

I'm with Sean... Allison is awesome and it was so sad to see her go. My whole fam was in tears when she was voted off. Donyelle is beautiful, but I think Allison was more verstile and a more technical dancer.
