For me, it's either this or gastric bypass. The DOCTORS are all for major surgery!
I've been taking this for just 2 days and have had to force myself to eat. I can't sit still and my house has never been so clean.
People that are seriously overweight are in danger.
We don't need to be insulting anyone. We should be helping each other.
Even IF this stuff works because of a placebo effect, it's better than major surgery!

Hello everyone.

I just love how everyone is sitting here bashing products that do actually work and help the people who do not lose the weight by just diet and exerise.

Heres a little example of this:

I myself was a 20 year old 260+ male who was in need of loosing a good bit of weight. So I did what everyone else does, I was walking 4+ miles a day, took out all red meat in my diet, would run 3+miles a day (thats ontop of the 4 miles of walking) stoped eating at fast foods restarunts etc.. Took out all soda from my diet and replaced it with water. Starting eating a good healty breakfast and fruits on a daily basis (i HIGHLY recomend Poms...pain in the ass to eat, but so friggen good) I was taking in less calories that i was burning (so they say) and I gained another 30lbs pushing myself very close to 300lbs.

This just wasent right, I was doing everything right, following my diet and everything so then i reached out to the diet pills and waht do you know, im now down to 150lbs. in about a year.

You say it dosent work, how would you explain my situation?

(Please dont think that im being a asshole or anything like that by posting this, and im not trying to start any kind of fights or anything on here, I just would realy like to hear what some of you would say about this.)

Thanks

I just started taking Leptopril, and so far I notice it gives me an insane amount of energy, and I run to the bathroom to much. One thing I have to say is no plan and product is perfect, so hopefully people in the future who bash any attmepts at weightloss, including both diet and exercise and Leptopril, should actuallt talk to someone first who's actually going through the experience. Iguess it's easy for people to judge and critic behind the safety of thier laptop, hmm? Please elaborate to your audience as to how you lost wiehgt, if you have. I mean since you're obviously an expert and everything!!

I took Leptopril for 18 months and lost 150lbs and have now kept it off for over 2 years! While it might not works for all it does work for some and there are others at the weight loss support forum that I am a member of that have the same kinds of success!

Mr. Dave Nalle - I don't see MD after your name. What makes you an expert on people, and their health? Your comments against the American people and companies in general don't speak well for you at all. You apparently have too much time on your hands. Forgive me for saying, but it sounds like you're a "glorified" complainer and are just using the Web to force your views on others. From what I read above, I agree, you are no better than the people and the Governmental parties you are attacking. Instead of writing about it and if you care that much about the American system, why don't you get off of your "ass" and do something about it. Hmmm...makes you sound like a politian doesn't it.

Finally! A person with some compassion and intelligence. People would benefit more from supportive people than those who do nothing but put other people down. It's bad enough that the media is focusing on the obese people with all of their diet adds on TV trying to shame people into making a New Year's resolution. You would think our Government would get involved and not allow companies to make money off of products that if not taken with caution, could cause more health problems. But unfortunately, today no company really cares about the benefit of the consumers it sells to, bottom line, our society is greedy and money at the cost of each individual's health is no concern to them. Perhaps if all obese people got together and formed a class action law suit for mental anguish, maybe, just maybe, these companies will wake up and quit praying on the emotions of people making them feel like failures when they are not.

I am absolutely disgusted by some of these posts. Everyone who has been criticizing those who use or have used this diet pill needs to hop right off their high horse. Stop acting like you are so above falling for a scam. Sure you didnt fall for this one but shame on you for thinking you are so much better than the people that may have. I cant judge personally Ive never used the product, but you should all know you aren't above being fooled. In whatever arena it may have been--I can hardly bring myself to believe that you have never been persuaded under false pretenses. Either way pretentious chastising attitudes will neither solve the obesity problem in this country nor prevent the appearance of funture weight loss scams.

You can't make a good arguement when you post your writing in the way you did. At least take a moment to get the dictionary and check your spelling. You can't claim you're intelligent, make excuses, put yourself above everyone else, and put yet even more people down without correctly backing your own arguement. This whole page should be deleted! I can't believe all of you people fell for yet another sales pitch.

I realize that after all that is read, this seems to be yet another ploy to try to sell a product. When you sign on, don't you think it's ironic that a book is promoted for The Best and The Worst Pills? Another $15 + Shipping for dieters to become even more confused. If one really cared, information would be shared at no cost to help one another, but it's evident that it appears "let's scare the over weight people" and then, boom, perhaps they will buy this book! This makes you no better than the people you are pointing your finger at!

I lost 37 pounds thanks to Leptopril. Having a pear shape, I tend to gain weight. I decided at 5'9" and 206 lbs to go on a diet. I still had a nice hour glass shape but I had the belly and jiggly thighs so I wanted a change. I went on Leptopril. Two pills a day. Yeah, it made me shakey and butterflies took up residence in my stomach, but I lost 8 pounds in 5 days. I just drank some warm water or herbal tea and the butterflies went away. I mean, I weighed 206 lbs on a Monday and by Saturday I weighed 198 lbs. I have been drinking lots of water, eating fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, berries 6 times a day and I have to this day lost 37 lbs in 3 weeks averaging 8 lbs every 5 days. You are supposed to eat up to 6 times a day. If you don't eat breakfast within 3 hours after you wake up you increase your chance of obesity by 6 percent. Then, if you eat every 2-3 hours (healthy things of course) your body will be a constant fat burning machine and Leptopril helps you out a lot. Things like fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, berries and lean meats naturally burn fat. Sometimes people need help to get motivated. Leptopril did it for me. All those people out there who are anti-Leptopril probably did not follow the instructions. Being motivated to get off your fat behind isn't as comforting as mashed potatos.

I thought I would come back and share with you how I lost my 162lbs on Leptopril. My weight gain was from an accident I was in that left me in a wheel chair for 3 yrs and left me permanently disabled. I went from 120 to 320 lbs because I couldn't move. Talk about depression. I lost 38lbs on my own and then that was as far as my body seemed it would go. Then I after talking to my Doctor, we had an option for surgery or to possibly trying to "kick start" my body's metabolism. He did suggest that I stay away from products that have Ephedra in it and I found by accident the Leptopril product with no Ephedra. It took 8 1/2 years for the weight to get where it was, so I knew it was not going to be overnight to get it off. My body had to get used to the changes and not just jump into it like many people do, that's where you go wrong. The first week, I took one pill in the morning and changed my breakfast diet only (mainly to Special K products), the next week I took one pill with breakfast and then one pill with lunch (changing my lunch to mainly low fat products, the week following I took one pill with breakfast, one pill with lunch, then began one pill with dinner (now changing my dinner to low fat items only), the following week I began taking two pills with breakfast, one with lunch and one with dinner, the following week I began then taking two with breakfast, two with lunch, and one with dinner. The following week after that I was up to two with each. Also, everytime I would take the Leptopril 30min before I would eat with a full glass of water. While on the Leptopril, the hardest part was stopping all caffeine products before starting the diet. Once I started the Leptopril, my energy started to increase, by the time I was on the full two pills before each meal, I no longer craved any junk food, any junk food I had, I replaced with fruit and various Weight Watcher's deserts. I found that I lost the weight in little over 14 months and when I reached my goal weight, I tapered my body off exactly the same way I went on, I worked it backwards, two pills with breakfast, two pills with lunch, one with dinner, the next week, two pills with breakfast, one pill with lunch and one with dinner, the following week, one pill with breakfast, one pill with lunch, one with dinner, the following week, one pill with breakfast, one with lunch, none, with dinner, I think you can follow it from there. From weaning my body off of the pills and not just stopping cold turkey, I've been able to keep the weight off for almost two years, in fact I've lost an additional 5lbs. And the most important of all, I've trained my body to crave the right kind of foods. So there is no miracle drug or quick fix, but I looked at Leptopril as an aid in helping me change my lifestyle and you know what.... it worked!

Wow, came across this site quite by accident. I read many of the comments, I hate to be different, but after I've tried everything else, I lost 162lbs using Leptopril. It's not a miracle aid by no means, however it did have an affect on controlling my hunger and at the same time I was honest with my Doctor told him what I was taking, and between that, diet, and exercise, what can I say, it worked. Maybe it's just physcological (sorry if I spelled that wrong), if you spend a lot of money, it stay's in your mind. loose the weight! Besides I got this at your local neighborhood pharmacy for $ 39.99 a month. Good luck to all those who are frustrated with weight products, I know how you feel.

All these people who think they are so intelligent but put down on others, even 'white trash' are just ignorant and socially retarded. What is interesting is that anyone with even a small amount of intelligence knows that people hate and see in others what they can't see in and hate about themselves so.... When I read someones insults to another person or group of people, I can get a VERY clear picture of who THEY really are.
