Of all the theories now circulating on the Web about the strange memory lapse of our Dear Leader's choice for the U.S. Supreme Court, this one strikes me as the most ridiculous:

Can't remember if he
Was ever a Federalist?
Could it possibly be
The sober judge was pissed?
