Tom, you are right. Honestly, I often think of a great line from Bart Simpson when Marge tried to get him to listen to a Christian Rock band. Bart's response:

mom, please... everyone knows the best bands are affiliated with Satan!

From what I understand, this is only the last album Mustaine will release under the name of Megadeth. He put this one under that name only because he had a contract to fulfil, otherwise it would have been a Dave Mustaine album.

And good for Mustaine for finding God - if that's what he needs to stay clean (and alive,) more power to him. Sorry, Lono, I think it's pretty low to call him out for doing something that can't possibly hurt him, and may indeed give him something to stay strong for. It certainly hasn't changed his musical attitude - System may not be another Rust in Peace, but it's a pretty solid listen.

His greatest hits album is coming out June 28th. I've got the new Kill The King video up about three posts down.

The one thing I can credit Dave for is never going to wuss metal, like a previous band he used to sing for did. As long as he keeps putting up decent music he could replace the entire band from week to week for all I care.

What? Dave Mustaine (one of the great narcissists of B level rock stars) has found God?

weak.

Also noticed his entire band has again been replaced. I know it's his band, but contintuity is important to me as a fan.

one last thing, with those two brothers in the band... can't one of them be named 'Ben'?

Dave Mustaine saying this will be his last record is an almost annual occurence. Dude is what, 40? He has many many years of rockin' left. Plus, I doubt he has amassed enough dough to retire.
