CD review: Hey Negrita?

Devil in my Shoes
Hey Negrita
(A Fat Fox)

Anyone who misses the Traveling Wilburys (like me) will love this trio. This two song-ep (with video) is a great pair of TW-esque folky rock tunes. The video is simple and amusing...ending with a great dog shot. The lead singer, Felix, sounds like Dylan and they are from London. The web-site is odd and look great even though it runs like rubbish. If 'Devil in my Shoes' is any example of what we can expect from their album, I can't wait to hear the full length. I bet they are bloody good fun live as well. Its great fun to hear music that puts a smile on your face. Great stuff!

Rating 4/5

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found at: Disgraceful Music. His Cthulhu tales can be found at Temple of Dagon.
