I assume you are referring to the reality boxing show? Not my cup of tea, nor is any reality TV for that matter. I'd recommend Eric B's Cathode Ray Fray for that, I know he watches a bunch of reality shows.
Now I'll be known as the reality TV guy!
My thing is to try and highlight the best shows on TV that I happen to watch. Subjective as hell? Of course.
But I do find that some reality shows rise to the top, just as some fictional shows do. A lot of the fictional models of storytelling on television are tired, which is part of the reason for the wide popularity of non-fictional or reality shows.
Sorry Chris! I was obviously bleery whan I penned that long winded note. Just saw TV, thought Eric B.
I enjoyed the post, thanks!
I've got all the Contender you can handle, Bennett. Unfortunately, however, I wasn't able to write about the finale as the semi-final match and two-hour finale aired within three days of each other, and I had to hop out of town for a bit directly after. I'll likely include my thoughts in my next column.
Thanks Eric, looking forward to it. Yeah, I could have googled and got the story, but in for a penny...
Everything is pale compared to the Way of The Ray.
