Ft. De Soto, an especially serene, well-preserved beach located just south of Tierra Verde, Fla. was named best beach in the country by Dr. Beach, America's beach expert, according to today's St. Petersburg Times. Expect more people to request homes and condos in Tierra Verde as a result. Pinellas County, Fla. tourist experts say they expect more tourists to flock to that area, as well, due to Ft. De Soto Beach's newfound No. 1 ranking and the popularity that comes with it.
Everyone loves the beach, but living near the nation's best beach is a commodity that everyone loves.
