Paul said, "Oh Mary Alice, what did you do?" The same thing that Susan Mayer said when she found the note at the start of the season. The Youngs were in the process of building the pool, so Mary Alice grabbed Zach's toy chest (looking brand new) and took out his stuffed animals. She told him she needed to borrow it. Paul and Mary Alice and working to hide the body when Zach appeared on the stairs seeing a dead woman and her blood on the carpet. No wonder Zach was a messed up kid.

Back to the present, Mike said, "Dierdre had a baby?" Paul nodded his head. Mike took off and headed home. Could Mike be Zach's birth father?

Paul dropped off a box at Mrs. Tillman's with stuff for Zach. Zach was angry when he opened the box and saw a baseball glove. Why didn't Dad know Zach didn't like baseball and angrily left the room. Felicia picked up the glove and discovered a note inside from Paul to Zach saying to meet him at midnight on Thursday at the baseball field. Felicia told Mike where Paul would be and Mike met him there, punched his lights out and took him to the desert. You know the rest.

Danielle discovered Rex on the stairs looking lousy who was wondering where Bree was. She found her Mom in their bedroom making the bed. She had to get dressed and make the bed before she could leave. Bree was in no hurry.

Rex's doctor said he needed a pacemaker and surgery. They were at a loss as to why Rex was having a heart attack and why his potassium levels were high. The doctor asked Rex, "Who makes your meals?"

Bree, of course. But we knew it wasn't Bree, but Pharmacist George who switched Rex' drugs. We saw Rex alone writing a note. "Bree, I understand and I forgive you." Bree got a call from the doctor telling her Rex died. She proceeded to finish polishing her silver and put them away. Then she broke down and wailed on the dining table. The next season looked bad for Bree as Rex' note made her look guilty. Plus, her taking her sweet time to get Rex to the hospital didn't help.

Lynette had lunch with an former colleague and asked a favor. She wanted the colleague to hire Tom so he'd stop working with Annabelle. The colleague wanted Lynette, a shark. Then Lynnette suggested hiring Annabelle. When Annabelle got the offer, the bigwig offered her Duggan's VP job, the one Tom wanted. Tom told off the boss because he knew he was next in line for the job. The boss revealed to Tom that Lynnette was the reason. Tom quit and the boss also told him not to come back. Tom went to the pizza place to play a mean game of air hockey with kids when Lynette appeared with her kids. She found out about Tom's quitting and he sent her home before he said something he regretted.
