Worst Best Week Ever Ever!

Watching VH1's Best Week Ever is so incredibly painful these days. What happened to this show? I can't believe these irreverent, funny people like Christian Finnegan, Doug Benson, The Modern Humorists are now reduced to shilling products and plugging upcoming shows. I think that the show jumped the shark when Seth from The O.C. started watching it. Talk about an infinite-loop. BWE plugs TOC and vice-versa.
As they say on the show: Downgrade!

The whole point of shows like this is to poke fun at pop culture. It's not supposed to be just a rehash of the week's shows. BWE used to be able to skewer with the best of them. Now they're just a bunch of kabob-bleheads.

I'm a little confused at how high the expectations for this show could be to begin with... Don't get me wrong, I've watched many a VH1/E show where they counted down something or showed clips, but I never expect it to be much of anything other than candy and silliness.
Basically, I know it's crap to begin with and that I'll feel just a little bit dirty after it's all over.
