Law and Order Breaks Record

Law and Order: Trial by Jury is the show of the Law and Order franchise not to make it past the first year, the U-Daily reports. The show got off to a tough start losing the wonderful Jerry Orbach who passed away from cancer after filming three episodes. According to the rticle, the show didn't work with series creator Dick Wolf so it could try new approaches. Didn't work, obviously.

Bebe Neuwirth, Amy Carlson, Scott Cohen, and Fred Dalton Thompson starred. Thompson, however, continues with the original show as DA Arthur Branch. Law and Order, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, and Law and Order: Special Victims Unit continue to run.

Meryl tapes Law and Order because the mom of three has no time to watch the shows when they're on. Faves are CI and SVU. They make great shows for watching while exercising. Hey, what's exercise?

Love the francise, but enjoyed Trial the least. Have had a crush on Cohen for a while though.

I wonder how much of the problems involved people unable to see passed Lilith Crane when seeing Neuwirth.
