Independent's Day hits LA early!

The National Association of Record Industry Professionals (NARIP) will be hosting an event that all music industry types in LA might want to check out.
The Independent's Day: Charting a New Standard for Success will be held in Studio City this Thursday May 12, at The Beverly Garland Hotel. The panel begins at 7:30 pm, cocktails are at 6:30 pm.
Admission is $30 for NARIP members, $40 for non-members. Many interesting topics related to running a successful label will be discussed. The key subject is managing independent labels to stability and commercial success.
Speakers will include Alan Beck, Rory Felton, and NARIP president Tess Taylor among others. Call 818-769-7007 to register or go to their website and do it. I'll bring back notes for you.
