<description>yes, the comments Adams made was that every incarnation of HHGTTG was different and that the movie would be no exception. If I remember right, he was heavely involved with working with the script before his death.

granted, it&#039;s very possible they mucked with it afterward... but I do have hopes</description>

<description>Douglas Adams was involved in this project before he died.  I seem to recall a comment he made for fans that indicated that the movie would be a little different than the book, and to remember that he had changed things in the story himself from radio play to book to 80s movie.</description>
