Next time we meet...

On Saturday the band met for their last gathering before we hit the studio; a week Saturday. We finalised the running order of the tracks, who will be doing what and, of course, being us, took a set of my lyrics and came up with another song. It went from being a back-up track to definetely on as it evolved over the evening post-Dr Who and dinner. We are not even sure what it is called but I wrote the lyrics while waiting for Tabitha to show up in a pub in Westminster. The line-up that is going to record the album will be interesting; we may in fact have the services of the lighting-fingered guitarist P.O., who will be flying over from Norway specifically to record with us. Not only is Mitch playing guitar for us; I am thinking of convincing him to sing Jon P's track; 'Movin' In', his barreled voice will work perfectly with the whole vibe of the track. Who knows what the heck is going to happen on studio weekend; its going to be a wild ride but all of us can't bloody wait.

The band work didn't stop there; Jon P and I attended the Die So Fluid gig at the Underground yesterday. And, of course, as you do I met a bloke from FHM who is now looking forward to coming to our CD launch. In the evening Jon P, his lovely fiance and a friend manage to finish off the weekend by downing 4 bottles of wine.
