CD review: Settlefish disappoint

Plural of the Choir
Settlefish
(Deep Elm Records)

This lot produce a whingeing alternative rubbish that has been done many times before and does not bear repeating. I listened to this several times and could not find anything with which I could recommend it. It's psuedo-punky emo crap done rather badly.

There is not anything at all redeeming about anything on this CD, no tracks of any merit and nothing good to be said for them. OK, the CD packaging and presentation is pretty clever, to be fair. It is not often that I find the end of the last track to be a relief; it was especially long in coming since the CD was 15 tracks long. (Well at least its good value for money.)

There must people who like stuff like this but who know's why? Anyway as you might have guessed if you have stuck with this review for this long; I am not terribly keen on this lot.

Rating: 1/5

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found on: CD Baby His Cthulhu tales can be found at Temple of Dagon.
