Beck has the big deal release this week. The #1 album at Amazon, Guero involves the Dust Brothers again, who produced the classic Odelay lo those many years ago. This might be worth a listen.

The most famous person releasing an album this week is Will Smith. I'm all in favor of the guy in general, but music seems like the lesser end of his talents. Anyway, Lost and Found is out this week. Personally, I'd probably be at least slightly more interested in Bushwick Bill's Gutta Mixx.

Oh, and Larry the Cable guy celebrates his Right to Bare Arms. Dang, but he's one messed up cracker. What the hell's wrong with him, anyway?

Unreformed hawkish Hoosier hillbilly and sometimes candidate Al Barger runs the still squeezin' down the psychodelic Kentucky moonshine at MoreThings.com, what with the paranoid religious visions and the Pentacostal music and visions of God and anarchy running amok and such. Somebody oughta call the cops to report his out of control freedom of conscience. Till they come to take him away somewhere where he can't hurt anyone else, you can check out his weekly column of NEW ALBUM RELEASES.
