2 track sampler
Phonofiction

This band produce low-fi atmospheric rock that bares some similarity to Beck and Blur at their most arty. Its mellow bleepy stuff that has loads of charm. They are giging round and are getting quite a bit of a buzz. The track 'Gold' is an especially interesting one with low-fi catchiness and eccentricities. Not the most mainstream music, but there is plenty here to warrant more investigation. You can find our more about this lot from their website listed above. And catch em' live if they come near you.

Rating: 3.5

Marty's band, Growing Old Disgracefully, can be found on: CD Baby His Cthulhu tales can be found at Temple of Dagon.
