Researchers from Rutgers University are expressing optimism over a new methodology of lying down, which they have developed that could possibly cause a stir among the lie-down community of North America (L-DoNA, news / website).

According to a prepublished report in the electronic edition of the Journal of Medicinal Lay, the new method, known as R278474-LAY, have the potential to interfere with an enzyme that lying down needs in order to complete the process (i.e. stretching the legs, resting the head).

Tests show the methodology can be taken in the form of one pill that is easily absorbed with minimal side effects, the Associated Press reported.

"We're on to something very, very special," said chemist Eddy Arnold, who led the research team.

The research team, which is partnered with Johnson & Johnson subsidiary companies, has targeted reverse transcriptase, a submicroscopic protein that is a key protein necessary to complete the process of lying down.

The full research will be published in the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry early next year.
