I'd rather watch a fictional president on t.v than a puppet president on prime time interupting regular programmming to tell us more lies.

Lying to us for reaons for going to war cost's lives. .

Lying to us about a sex act that may or may not have happened cost's nothing. yet they impeach Clinton? Whatever

America isn't ready for a female president no matter who run's.

It seems way too much like West Wing to me, but softened up with more family bits because she's a woman. Not bad, but not a standout. On the other hand it's not about an alien invasion like every other new show.

Wonder upon wonders. I did remember this was on, though I had to record it because I was working.

I follow the TV season, like pigs fly south for the winter. As in, not at all. But TV guide comes in handy and I bought the "New fall season" edition so I could keep up.

Oh, and as if to prove that point, I missed West Wing (I think) though I knew it was on Sundays now.

I enjoyed the first episode of this show, and I too am hoping that this show plus West Wing can get me through the next three years.

Good: I thought Geena Davis pulled it off very well and I thought it was very well-written.

Bad: She seemed a little too perfect to me (I mean, who could come up with a speech like that when their TelePrompter checks out?), whereas Donald Sutherland (who pretty much stole the show whenever he was on camera) was a little too Neanderthal. I think West Wing was such a high-quality show because it did not fall into those simplistic all-or-nothing or good-versus-evil TV traps.

Will definitely watch the next few episodes and see how it goes.

12 years ago, I joinedMENSA. The flack au jour was that Bill Clinton "graced" the cover of its national "rag": "Clinton is NOT a Mensan." "He's a Rhodes Scholar, for crying out loud!" Etc., ad nauseam. That bemused/ amused me. More recently, the I. Q.s of Kerry and Bush were contrasted. Given all of that, I look forward to even a fictitious tale about a reel... REAL, Mensan, "U. S. President!" Regarding a WOMAN as America's CEO, a stranger berated me that Mensa was SEXIST. Not so: There are both men and women in all leadership positions! [There are 17,800 Google sites for "review geena davis commander in chief tv show." Also, see, "FAMOUS Mensans."]

Works the same for Ms. Rice.

Either way I don't think about that nothingness when I think of a TV show. Is it any good? That's pretty much my rule for viewing.

Looks like the Hillary Propaganda Machine is getting started already.

It's obvious to anyone who has seen the promos for this "fantasy" show that it's being made so the public can be desensitized by the time Hillary is officially on the campaign trail.

I mean, come on... "this series will examine...the shock of a first woman president", and "not only will she take charge of a grieving nation, but also the care of her own household". Puu-lease!

A woman for President? Maybe some day...

If that woman is Hillary Clinton? HELL NO. And before you get all worked up by this post, just know that I'm NOT a big fan of the loser that's currently the President. But he is nowhere near as bad as what Hillary would be.

I hope the show does well. It should give us many laughs.

It'll be interesting to see how the show is like or unlike The West Wing.

As for The West Wing: I wonder if it can pull off a change to a new administration and, you'd have to think, an almost complete turnover of the cast. (Or maybe Martin Sheen becomes a fire-breathing liberal Sentator to come up against a new Republican administration?)
