"Weird Al" Yankovic's Off the Deep End has nudity on the cover. Considering that Weird Al has apparently never grown up (and quite proudly so), one could even call it little boy nudity, but only with a strong dose of irony.

Nirvana's Nevermind album cover has infant nudity, which is not even close to the same thing as "little boy" nudity. American culture is much more comfortable with infant nudity than with any other form. But the phrase "little boy nudity" carries connotations of child pornography, which is one of the things American culture (and many others) are entirely justified to loathe.

Of course it's quite possible John is well aware of these connotations, and used the phrase anyway out of a dislike for Nirvana.

Some of the Lords Of Acid covers, specifically their singles, are just straight up porn.

OK, the European release of Electric Ladyland, Country Life by Roxy Music (plus other releases were quite tasty), The Slits! I forgot about that one!, The drawing on the Blind Faith cover, Whip Cream and Other Delights by Herb Albert sure had me going as a youngster in the late 60s.

Some of the covers on your more easy listening and obscure releases of times of yore were actually quite relvealing in their subliminal way. Every once in a while you'll come across an album by someone you never heard of in the 60s, look at the cover and think "my goodness, this is racey! I'll buy it for that alone"

That's fine. I have no problem with people listing their own personal favorites but it would be better if it was done with a spirit of coopean ration rather than disrespect.

ie: "Electric Ladyland"? C'mon, are you even trying???"

Robert, people love to chime in with suggestions to lists - it's no negative reflection on the "completeness" of your list, which rules.

Lono,

This list was not meant to be the final authority on the subject. There are literally hundreds of nude album covers not included on my list.

In fact, there are books on the subject
But, yes, the albums you mentioned could certainly be on the list

the nude Electic Ladyland was a European release only, and was quickly fixed (Jimmy was not amused and did not authorize it). Also, if I remember correctly it is only the inside gatefold that was a bunch of nudies. If you have this on vinyl, it is most likely worth thousands.

I was very surprised not to see Traffic on the list. That is the only one I knew. Oh, does Herb Alpert 'whip cream and other delights' count?

The nude cover version of Electric Ladyland is about as easy to find as a Gay Repiblican. Sure they exsist, but aren't really worth mentioning.

Regardless of their orientation now, Ferry and Jagger shared a few boyfriends back in the day. At least, that's what I've heard.

From what I understand, Bryan Ferry wouldn't be too interested in a double-team of near naked women in the woods.
