I just got back (about 2 hours ago) from the crue concert here in DC, and i must say, IT ROCKED. The album is great, and yes, the second disc is almost as useless as a second asshole, yet at the show, they played mostly classics. The CD is probably a good way to just rack up some money, but i still love the crue, and since they've been playing for longer than i've been alive, i gotta respect them for that.

I think the self-titled CD was actually rather good, except for one problem, it was NOT Motley Crue. It just did not fit into their catalogue very well...it was certainly far better than the shite Generation Swine.

Good review, which I agree with for the most part...except about the new songs.....

I love them! Sick Love Song is a tremendous rock stomper, If I Die Tomorrow could be great with more time in the studio, and Street Fighting Man is as good a cover as they've ever done....I think they do re-capture the old magic, fairly well.
