Is that a heart beating in your chest, or are you just, um, alive?

Howdy. This is a review of the album "Heartbeat." After the word "heartbeat" it says "David Harness." I'm assuming that this is not a new kind of strap but the name of the DJ that put this thing together? I'm probably right or wrong or halfway somewhere in there.
I'm listening to it right now. I seem to do better, or worse, with these things through or via that method. I've listened to this album a few times already. I like it. Less than some things and more than others. It's upbeat. It's happy. It keeps things moving. It has a big pulsating heart on the cover. It's got beats and happy people singing over said beats. Not sure if these hooks, or verses, were recorded strictly for these songs or simply dubbed over from something else. That requires research, not my forte.
What I will tell you is that listening to this recording is an enjoyable experience. I won't go into the details vis a vis about the fact that I know next to, ok, actually, nothing, about writing the particulars or wherewithalls involved with strict methodological intricacies involved with house music, if this is even considered as such.
Um, I'm just gonna like let it soak in my brain and type something here in a bit after said soakage has seeped a little more. Is that cool? Oh wait, you can't answer me. Oh, um, I mean, you can, but just not now. Later you'll be able to answer, but then this will already be written, thereby not really having any effect on this cataclysmic essay on the state of the world.
I like when they do little repeat thingies of someone's voice saying something over a changing beat and then on the transition to the next song it's like it's like twitching & vibing and you can just picture yourself, ears up to the speaker, feeling the boogie woogie, and like, there's these people with mentholatum in their doctor's masks, and, then, oh, sorry, flashback. Just for the moment.
I definitely, and this is a personal consideration, wouldn't consider this "trance" per se, but, well, it could potentially put you into some kind of trance, if you were being influenced by the correct confluence of substances. But then again, so could the chipmunk's Christmas album, so, that might not be saying a whole hell of a lot.
Hmmm, big beats percolating, hard yet smooth, ok, I think I got it now, see that's the hard thing about this dillios, like, getting a really firm grip on what the whole thing is all about, and now I remember, it's like, happy yet aggressive yet smooth yet pleasant yet hitting you enough that you know you're being hit. With something good and soft yet still substantial. Not a fist. Maybe, like, a nerf football?
This album's good. You'll shake your ass around. All around. And then you'll sit and write a love letter. To yourself, your wife, your husband, your dog, your favorite character from Moby Dick, it really doesn't matter. You'll be in a good mood & you won't be quite sure why. Enjoy.
