<description>great take Chip, all makes perfect sense. I thought they were smart, though, as a &lt;i&gt;show&lt;/i&gt; to do so much with the performances rather than focusing so much on the awards, which frankly are pretty tedious. Kanye West may have been snubbed in his award take, but he blew out his performance on every level and won a few million new fans, I would wager. that was one of the most powerful blendings of msuic and theatricality I have ever seen, on TV anyway. The awards were weird, the performances exceptional</description>
