It's Time For The Pixelator

One of my coworkers brought an import graphic design magazine to work. The coolest feature this mag had was a how-to guide on building your own pixel town. The magazine's staff decided to make it an old west theme, bodies hanging from the gallows and all. I quickly copied the article to show some people I know. Then I started perusing some of the links it listed for pixel art websites. There's some pretty cool stuff out there, and it's amazing how the basis of the low brow video game entertainment of my youth is blossoming into a nouveaux-retro classy art form.

For your browsing pleasure:

Eboy - Many of his pictures are reminiscent of a twisted Sim City 2000. (Some pictures not Safe For Work)

PixelMoon -
SciFi Pixel Animations. Fairly humorous at times.

Guide To Pixel Art - Get your learn on.
