We're Google News
Published January 27, 2005
It is so easy to be carried along in the slipstream of writing, editing, commenting, etc., here that it's takes special effort to just top and smell the bird of paradise already lodged in your nose.
As of about NOW, Blogcritics is an official functioning Google News source, which is a huge step up the credibility ladder and very unusual for a "blog," although at this point I see us an an online magazine that happens to be written by bloggers.
This is a tremendous accomplishment and I want to thank all of our writers for doing such great work, and our readers, without whom it would be rather lonely, wouldn't it?
And special thanks to RJ for getting the ball rolling in the first place - much appreciated!

Right on! - I did some queries and found many blogcritics posts - the recent ones come up. More reason to stay bc-fresh
Major Congrats!!!
Think of what's important in headlines.
And I would be remiss in saying Political State Report, the group blog I own and manage has been a Google News source for about seven months.
Polstate.com
wohoo! thats fantastic!
incidentally, if you search for "duke" and "mondo irlando" and "motherfuck", chances are you get my site somewhere near the top.
ha! you get ONLY me, it turns out. its lonely at the top, is what.
i firmly believe that you are, in fact, a majority of one, mr. duke
thanks again to all - it will be interesing to see what, if anything, happens as a result
they are always there, but they don't show up until the page is rebuilt
Glad to be of help! :)
Sadly, Yahoo News seems to be a tougher nut to crack. Any and all help would be appreciated...
Hmm... I have a contact over there. I'll see what I can do.

that would be great Eric, thanks, the more places we are an "official news source" the better off we are from all standpoints

Thanks, EB! :)

Right on!
By the way -- I see my "blog" as a webzine that just happens to look like a blog...
If that counts for anything.
