We're Google News

It is so easy to be carried along in the slipstream of writing, editing, commenting, etc., here that it's takes special effort to just top and smell the bird of paradise already lodged in your nose.

As of about NOW, Blogcritics is an official functioning Google News source, which is a huge step up the credibility ladder and very unusual for a "blog," although at this point I see us an an online magazine that happens to be written by bloggers.

This is a tremendous accomplishment and I want to thank all of our writers for doing such great work, and our readers, without whom it would be rather lonely, wouldn't it?

And special thanks to RJ for getting the ball rolling in the first place - much appreciated!

Right on!

By the way -- I see my "blog" as a webzine that just happens to look like a blog...

If that counts for anything.

Think of what's important in headlines.

And I would be remiss in saying Political State Report, the group blog I own and manage has been a Google News source for about seven months.
