Okay, first things first. I also enjoy the Food Network, West Wing, PrimeTime Live, 20/20, CNN, Extreme Makeover (Home Edition and the regular show) as well as 60 Minutes.
Suppose I became a news junkie out of family history-my great great uncle was Gov. of GA. My cousin married a lawyer-a partner in a corporate law firm.
As for you, Jim, it's Candice Bergen. Yes, BL specializes in civil and corporate law. Every so often, they do other things. Alan once said he was "Bored" because he used to handle murder cases. Thought Brad and Lori handles theirs well. Do you recall Donny Crane, played by Freddie Prinze Jr.? I like BL mostly for Spader, but also for the quirkiness.

I've been watching "Boston Legal" mainly to see when the wheels fall off. They came close with ep 10 and the full on focus with murder trials (I thought the firm was civil/corporate law? Oh, yeah, they had a bit about how boring that was), though, the recent introduction of Candice Burgin may buy them some time. But if DEK has proved anything, he's an ass.

Denny Crane, it is starting to become an echo.

Gee, have you watched any shows other than Boston Legal and Desperate Housewives? Oh yeah, CSI. Well-rounded, for sure. :-)
