It&#039;s a good keyboard for someone to play at home.  It&#039;s not professional grade (no MIDI, built-in speakers, no stereo outs), but my mom doesn&#039;t need that level or hardware.  I&#039;m in the market, too, but I&#039;m probably going to be going with a stage instrument like a &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.zzounds.com/a--303747/item--YAMMOTIFES8&quot;&gt;Motif&lt;/a&gt;.

It just depends on what itch you&#039;re trying to scratch.</description>

<description>So can I take that as an endorsement for the Yamaha DGX505?  &#039;Cause, I&#039;m thinking about getting a keyboard.

I notice it says &quot;32 note polyphony&quot;.  That&#039;s more than enough for a normal set of fingers, but I guess if you try to do that Freddie Mercury sit-on-the-keys bit, it might not play all the notes (depending on how wide your ass is).
