I plays MP3s at work and have about 70 GB on my office Internet station. I have a 6 CD changer in the car. At home, I have over 120 GB of MP3s on my main Internet computer, with gigabytes of MP3s burned to disk in my binders.

Part of me would love to own an iPod, but part of also doesn't see a need for one. I have music with me, everywhere I go, except when I'm shopping or cycling.

I'll buy one eventually, but by that time, they should hold 200 GB and have some of the neat features that the iRiver products have, like recording voice, AM/FM, etc.

I come down to AZ about twice a year because my folks live there, as well as my wifes. Next planned trip is Labor Day '04.

Lono - you're music tastes and moods sound A LOT like mine.

I'm iPodless, but do not mind too much at all. I would like one for the car, however. I bought one for my mom though - and she loves it.

When are you next down here in AZ?

Lono, do yourself a favor and get that new CD player for your truck, but make sure it has either an 1/8" input jack on the front, RCA inputs on the back, or CD-changer controls and input, because then you can plug your Ipod directly into your stereo and skip the poor sound quality of FM transmitters.

But yeah, this thing's amazing. I'm loading my 40gb up right now with everything I can possibly think of. I'm going a bit insane from sitting in front of the computer obsessively ripping CDs . . . and I've still got 33gb to go!
