RUMSFELD ADMITS TO ADDITIONAL MILITARY SHOOT-DOWNS.
Published December 29, 2004
While Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld's alleged "misstatement" over the shooting down of Flight 93 on September 11 has captured the bulk of the media's attention, Rumsfeld's other "slips" have received little to no coverage. These "slips" include Rumsfeld's surprising admission that the government also shot down the Hindenburg, JFK, Princess Di and, believe it or not, Elvis.
Since May 6, 1937, theories have abounded about what actually caused the Hindenburg to burst into flames, with suggestions ranging from static electricity to the doping solution used on the craft's skin to sabatoge. However, with Rumsfeld's slip of the tongue, it is now apparent the great zeppelin was actually shot down by unmarked military aircraft seen flying over Lakehurst earlier that day.
The official explanation of Kennedy's assassination on November 22, 1963, has always been that Lee Harvey Oswald acted on his own. However, a majority of Americans believe JFK's assasination was actually part of a larger conspiracy, which Oswald may or may not have been part of. Now, thanks to Donald Rumsfeld's unplanned moment of candor, we know that JFK was actually shot down by unmarked military aircraft which had been sighted flying over the grassy knoll and Dealey Plaza.
On August 31, 1997, Princess Di was killed in a car crash. Immediately, conspiracy theories started making the rounds. Who killed Princess Di? The Queen? MI6, the British Secret Service? The New World Order? Answer? None of the above. From Rumsfeld's lips to this reporter's ears, Lady Di was actually taken out by an unmarked military aircraft spotted flying over the tunnel near the time of the crash.
Finally, Rumsfeld's faux pas also seemed to implicate the military in the death of Elvis. However, despite several eyewitness accounts of unmarked military aircraft flying over Graceland on that fateful day in August, 1977, most Elvis fans still believe he is living on a Caribbean island with Jim Morrison and TuPac.
