~Compiled by Daniel Kurtzman / About Political Humor

Now I know what you are thinking. These political figures were just being themselves and if they were here to defend themselves you would hear comments like, "Foul... you are taking my comments out of context". To that we say, "Yes, they actually make more sense that way". The cast of characters above all have four more years to work on their next passion play. You can be sure we will get sneak previews of that Not-so-Divine Comedy every now and then leading up to 2008. Hillary, Where are you ? We hear they are casting for the Taming of the Shrew...

"Can't you see it now? Cheney saying, 'You need me on that wall! You need me on that wall!' And me saying, 'You can't handle the truth!'" --Sen. John Edwards, after "Regis & Kelly" host Kelly Ripa suggested Tom Cruise could play Edwards in a movie of the 2004 campaign,
[ Sorry... We did not see that movie, Johnnie. Someone out there get that one?]

These are both quotes from A Few Good Men with Cheney channeling Jack Nicholsen about the Marine presence at Gitmo, then Edwards parroting Nicholsen's line about the cover-up.

Seems appropriate. (Although neither line was said by Tom Cruise.)

Thank you Dr. Pat....

Yes... remember that great flick now! Thanks. You're right, they were both Nicholsen's lines I think. Either way, Kelly Ripa may need to have her head examined by Dr. Howard Dean. :)

Peace...
