Judging The Blog Herald's Christmas Blogging Awards
Published December 20, 2004
It's official. I've been asked by Blog Herald Editor Duncan Riley to join Trudy W. Schuett, who writes for and publishes The Desert Light Journal in judging the 2004 entries for The Blog Herald's 2004 Christmas Blogging Awards. This was my initial reaction of being asked to judge:
"The last thing I judged was a Miss Hawaiian Tropic preliminary bikini contest, and while I would never complain about being surrounded by beautiful women, I expect judging the Blog Herald's Christmas Blogging awards to be much more enthralling."
Nominations are currently open and will be open until December 23. Awards will be given for:
Best overall Christmas Blog
Best Christmas decoration of a Blog
Best posting about Christmas on a Blog
Best new blog embracing Christmas

Yes, why can't we keep it the way it's supposed to be? What is this about having a contest on my birthday? I don't recall approving this...
Father, did you approve this?...

Christmas can't end soon enough for this girl. Puh-lease! Enough with the awards! Can't people just keep Christmas in their hearts...the way it's supposed to be?
