Decadence...new & very much improved

Decadence
@ St Moritz
Waldorf Street, Soho London
Saturday nights
Last night, the heavy rocker contingent at my birthday piss-up decided to continue the evening at Decadence. Decadence is a weekly rock club that used to reside at Gossips in Soho and has now moved. Jon P and I are were keen to check out the new venue and were pleasantly surprised. Even though the lay-out is not as open-plan as the old venue, it still retains the same sort of character. Judging by the turn-out they have not suffered from a drop in punters either. Futhermore, while the music remains a mix of 80s rock (hard rock, 80s glam and goth), the drinks prices are actually, wait for it, cheaper. £12 for a round for four lushes is not bad at all. The entry price remains £6 (£5 with membership card) and its a pretty nice place. All in all, this is a rare case of change being a good thing. Considering the response from the two others in our group, John from G.o.D. and Wolfie, we shall returning rather soon.
