Mind Body Tone-Up
David Botsford
(Corporate Medical Services)

David Botsford, a clinical hypno-therapist, has produced a series of CD audio-books intended to help an individual via self-hypnosis. This particular one combines baroque music with various techniques for improving one's mind and body. David's dulcet tones both relax and keep you paying attention throughtout this three-part workout. The CD is not meant to be listened to all in one go, at least after the first time, and each work-out can be used seperately at your leisure. While I cannot say whether or not this is truly effective I can tell you that is a great way to relaxed and be refreshed both in mind & body. I certainly felt a difference each time I used this CD. The last technique (word) Connections, I found most useful for determining one's state of mind. It is rather interesting, if one lets oneself go, what words one's mind responds with. I found it most effective when used with an iPod while lying down on ones bed. The elemination of background noise makes concentrating on David's instructions much easier. I have to admit to scepticism about this product but I plan to use this rather often as a valuable tool in maintaining equilibrium in this bizarre thing called my life. If you have any interest in self-hypnosis then David's CD is a great place to start.

Rating: 5/5
