Red, White and Crue

Vince Neil (who had some surgical facial rearranging, note the banner above) clearly has an anger management problem, as his periodic (and apparently effective) pummeling of those who displease him indicates. Marty Dodge reports on Neil's latest incident with a Dallas nightclub soundman who was a bit too slow on the faders.
Coincidentally, Motley Crue — with all four original members, bassist Nikki Sixx, singer/guitarist Neil, lead guitarist Mick Mars and drummer Tommy Lee — is preparing for its biggest world tour in years, "Red, White and Crue 2005 World Tour - Better Live Than Dead" (tour trailer here), beginning February 14 in San Juan, Puerto Rico and ending in London in June.

The band's new single, "If I Die Tomorrow," is the #1 most added song on both Mainstream and Active Rock formats in its first week. Jim Richards of Clear Channel stated, "'If I Die Tomorrow' is a contemporary song. The radio stations are getting a big response from fans because they know they are part of something special."

Also coming in February is a 2-CD career-overview anthology, Red, White and Crue, which looks like a pretty solid representation of why the notorious foursome has sold over 40 million albums over the years since they exploded out of L.A. over 20 years ago.

If you are committed to good "first draft" you might want to look over the copy on Advance.net and see the small changes - and sometimes big changes. The big changes are almost always done for space, however. NB: I'm posting this message to all reviews, not singling you out at all. :-)
"Street Fighting Man" is this a Rolling Stones cover???
"Too Young to Fall in Love" is my favorite Motley Crue song, does anyone know what the remix is supposed to be?
Also, I checked out their "If I die Tomorrow" song, it sucks. Jim Richards does not know what he's talking about. It's not a contemporary rock song, it's an Alternative Rock song.
Too bad I wasn't alive 20 years ago, cause that was the time when Motley Crue was a Rock "and Roll" band!
Motley Crue is still a "Rock and Roll" band, and no, "If I die Tomorrow" is not an "alternative" rock song. I WAS alive 20 years ago and I remember being a Motley fan back when albums like Shout At the Devil and Girls, Girls, Girls were released, this song is just a modernized version of the Crue's old time style.
You can't expect a band to be around this long and not mature musically (unless you are used to listening to bubble gum pop and expect someone like Brittany Spears to still be around when she is 40 ). In my opinion, this is one of the Crue's best songs. And I am a fan that remembers "Too Fast For Love" and its raw sound. Sorry to crap on your review guy, but no one wants to just hear "Shout at the Devil" be redone over and over for 20 years, if I band doesn't mature, they die out. Just take a look at all the other 80's bands and ask yourself why they are not still putting out new releases.
