Seconds was a fair novel, and it was adapted for the screen by a pretty good writer, LJCarlino. Grand Prix, which Frankenheimer directed the same year, is notable chiefly for SOUNDS OF RACE CARS! and split-screen photography. Lesser material, lesser movie.
