As a fellow journalist and friend of Mr. Brudnoy in the late 70's, I found him to be the most wonderful kind of Gentleman,a man not afraid to admit when he didn't know a subject well. He possessed flair and charm that put people at ease in his company. He was an accessible person and a delight to have around, whatever the context. He will be missed, but I think his "presence" will survive him.
David and I worked together at two stations, WRKO 83-86 and WBZ in 1987. He was always a gentleman, very kind and fun to be around. We nicknamed Dave "Bruds". For a guy possessed wth great talent and celebrity, his down to earth sensibility was welcome. Dave was also an inspiration. Alot of us television reporters, writers and talk show hosts knew Dave could do it all and write a book about it. A life lived well.

I'll miss Brudnoy, even though I haven't been able to hear much of him during the past four years, on account of living overseas.
