thanks, Eric - Robert, i'm looking for your comment now... Beauty is a great philosophical concept and discussion idea, but i think for me, we have to accept the notion that beauty is subjective , even if it causes a codified set of physical responses, i think it is always something that will ultimately be, in the real world anyway, subjective and not objective, and i think we've proven that time and time again... I really enjoyed writing this piece, though it's a bit heavier than the usual for me, it was great fun. Aesthetics is my favorite philosophical topic and I waver between believing in a Platonic Beauty and much less satisfying reflexive concepts. Very interesting and lovely as always Sadi. Robert, Trackback always works, it just doesn't show up on the page until the post is rebuilt - this is a flaw in our current system.
