The Next Member Of The US Supreme Court: Miguel Estrada!

William Rehnquist, Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court, is very ill. And quite old. And he is unlikely to remain on the Supreme Court for much longer.

Chief Justice Rehnquist's leaving the USSC will give President Bush two crucial openings to fill: A new Supreme Court judge, and a new Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court.

I expect Clarence Thomas will be picked as the new Chief Justice of the USSC, throwing Leftists into a major hissy-fit. And I also expect Miguel Estrada will be Bush's pick to replace Justice Rehnquist on the Court.

Not much of a change, really. One conservative judge for another. One conservative Chief Justice for another.

But the Left will go bonkers nonetheless.

And I will watch it all with a perma-smirk on my monkey-face, just like our President...

This post tells you all you need to know about the right, doesn't it?

It may tell you all you need to know about RJ, but it would be foolish indeed to stereotype an entire group of people based on the statements of one person, don't you think?

Sadly RJ isn't unique, there are a lot people just like him yapping away on other forums.

Any government that's a wet dream for someone like RJ is pretty scary for everyone else.

"And I will watch it all with a perma-smirk on my monkey-face, just like our President..." but from a prison cell.

RJ Elliott is going to make the mistake of acting on some of his repulsive desires one day. And, then, like his fellow traveler, Matt Hale, he will get what he deserves.

Sooo...lemme get this straight. I support a Black Man for Chief Justice of the USSC, and a Hispanic Man for Associate Justice of the USSC, and yet I'm supposedly a "fellow traveler" of white supremacist Matt Hale?

WTF?

Not that it's relevant to the discussion but just to point out, you've gone from "I expect" to "I support".

"you've gone from "I expect" to "I support"."

It's both, actually...
