This just off Reuters:

"LONDON (Agence de Presse Medicale) - Babies exposed to painkillers during the later stages of pregnancy appear to have an increased risk of developing schizophrenia in adulthood, according to the findings of a large Danish study published in the British Journal of Psychiatry."

Yet more reasons, as if we needed them, to learn and know that substance abuse or even moderate use of certain drugs during pregnancy is a bad idea. This is groundbreaking news. For the full-report click here.

given this article i would says definitely talk to your doctor before taking anything. You might try a local anthestetic like Ambesol available over the counter at drugstores, but again, talk to a doctor, or even a clinic There are many people who can help you. I am not one of them.

sorry, but i am a writer, not a doctor.

Good luck and sorry about your teeth but congratulations about the baby!
