Actually, when I turned on Monday Night Football about 10:45 central time, they were showing polls in some small NH town where all 26 registered voters were waiting to cast their votes at 12:01 a.m. I think the polls closed before the football game ended.

Indeed, MD, you are correct. From the article: The tiny communities since 1948 sporadically have been taking advantage of a state law that allows communities to close polls early if all registered voters have cast ballots.

It's 10:50 a.m. in NH, too. CNN.com already has its map of the US up to show who's winning which state. No states are reporting yet, but it's just ridiculous that the graphic is up at this time of the day. I'm starting to think we should block the media from saying ONE WORD about the polls until ALL of them have closed for the day. And I'm a free speech nut, too, but this stuff is ridiculous.

Perhaps they shut downn after all the Republicans vote. Seriously though, if all the registered voters have voted, I guess they can close.

how the fuck are they closed already. I am in Indiana and its 10:50 am.
