Better a provisional ballot than no ballot at all!

A friend of mine wasn't able to vote in 2000 because we went to the wrong precinct. The officials there sent him to another precinct, also the wrong one. By the time he finally got to the right precinct, the polls had been closed for ten minutes.

Now, I've been teasing him for four years about waiting until the last minute and not even knowing where to vote, but still, knowing about a site like this would have helped.

Tomorrow morning he's voting at 7am when the polls open. :-)

For me, the idea of even having a provisional ballot is scary because the chance of fraud is too great.
