As to predictions, I believe it was in a philosophy textbook that I picked up the adage, "You never count your money while you're sitting at the table. There'll be time enough for counting when the dealing's done."

The ads weren't running nationally, just in central Indiana.

I think I've locked up Patty and Selma's votes. My ad on TVLand today came during McGyver. I was hoping for Bewitched, or perhaps I Dream of Jeannie, but hey.

I also landed a SciFi channel ad during Star Trek.

There are two orphaned ads that I shot but didn't get to use, money and all. The actual filming of all four ads was done in one continuous take in not much more than the running time, with one extra take of the main Social Security ad.

In short, the entire process of filming took less than 10 minutes, so there wasn't much time for outtakes. At $135/hour for production time, I wasn't screwing around.

I liked the gold robe, the beard and the head-wrap, plus, getting the ads run on Al-Jazeerra, bonus!

Seriously, though, it would have been great if you'd offered us a butterscotch candy. Not that I'm saying you look like Cartman, I'm just sayin' is all.

They cut directly from my ad to Cartman in his suit and tie going door to door urging the citizens of South Park to vote Turd Sandwich, because this was the most important election of their lifetime. You know I had that in mind all the time I was out doing door to door this evening.

Except of course that I wanted them to vote for me rather than a Turd Sandwich.
