Edwards: Bush Did Not Do His Job In Iraq

Well, it looks like John Kerry and John Edwards will not let these missing explosives go. Even though there is more than enough evidence to blast the New York Times and CBS News story to pieces, they still think they can score political points on the story.

"As he has done over and over for the past four years, George Bush refuses to step up and take responsibility," Edwards said. "It is time for him to step aside and that's exactly what's going to happen on November the 2nd."

I think it is time for Edwards to step up to reality. Richard Holbroke said on Fox's The Big Story with John Gibson that "I don't know what happened. I don't know the truth."

Now, when your top foreign policy advisor, and someone who will most likely be the new secretary of state if Senator Kerry is elected, does not know the truth of this "scandal", how can Edwards make these types of claims?

Now, I mentioned the mounting evidence that the explosives were already gone.

FoxNews reports that, "Senior Pentagon officials say they are analyzing some satellite images from the Al-Qaqaa facility south of Baghdad from before the war. Apparently, they show some large truck activity at that facility, [indicating] possibly that Saddam Hussein was moving the explosives out."

This photo was released

Here is the key part

"Of interest is the number of trucks seen arriving and leaving the al-Qaqaa facility prior to the arrival of U.S. troops in April 2003."

If Bush would have "rushed to war" sooner, wouldn't these explosives might have been confiscated instead of picked up by Russia and moved to Lebanon and/or Syria?
