The Elements of Authorship - by Arthur Plotnik
Published September 26, 2004
Plotnik goes on to shred the mystique of being a writer, and I must confess he had me laughing out loud at some of his declarations. I wish I could tell you more about the book, but I have to finish reading it first. You see, his opening pages called forth such an urge to respond and be a part of the conversation that I simply had to tell you about the book. I have absolutely no doubt that Mr. Plotnik will more than meet my expectations--and I have a feeling that is the same way editors react when they read the opening pages of a new manuscript that ultimately results in the offer of a contract.
