Bob and Marc, I'm inclined to agree with you about shark jump 1.

Hal and Bob, I think this is another statement / position that will continue put Kerry in difficulty, to borrow a little language from Phil Ligget.

There is much debate about the prudence of going into Iraq. Due to his shuffling on this issue, Kerry has done a miserable job of taking advantage of anti-war sentiment. This statement opens him up to more accusations regarding his inability to lead, plus it puts him on bad terms with Allawi should he become elected. Why do that?

Bob, thanks for the kind words about a previous post and I'm sorry I let you down here.

For the record Bob, that's two jumps, and two sharks.

This was a horribly stupid entry. Way to put no thought or effort into it. I liked your last thing with the news summary, but this was mindless.

For the record, Kerry clearly jumped the shark when, in front of the Grand Canyon, he said he still would have given Bush the authority to go to war in Iraq even knowing now that there were no WMD and we'd been misled.

That is all.

I don't get it - why would you conclude that the race is over from his statement?

Clearly the situation in Iraq is bad, and Allawi was brought over to put a better face on it.

Is that why you think the race is over, because of this political move?

Or what?

Really - I just don't seen any connection between your conclusion and the facts presented.
