I have made the switch and let me say I am staying with Firefox. It sits on top of the Windows OS and is not integrated within it, the main reason why it is a more stable browser. Another attraction of Firefox is that it is Open Source as opposed to a closed browser and despite being open source is much more secure. You can make it your own.

Firefox (just like Mozilla before it) works fine except when you want to use any Microsoft products. I only use it on my Linux desktop - it works much better there.

> where is my ebay toolbar?

The real beauty of firefox lies in being able to create your own extensions.

Last week the Mozilla Firefox Release Candidate 1 was released. The actual 1.0 release should be along in a month or so.

i've been using mozilla for years now.

the current version is solid and very fast.

sadly, most of the html rendering problems have to do with pages written for an IE-centric world.

maybe that'll change at some point down the road.

I'm not (yet) ready to make the changeover. Although it has some great plug-ins, (especially for webmasters) it still has some problems with HTML rendering that I can't live with. Bummer.

I made the change from IE to Firefox a few months ago and it has been the most significant best thing I have ever done with a computer since I learned to find porn. I ran my Lavasoft <a href="http://www.lavasoft.de/">Adaware</a>
again last night and it didn't find a single piece of spyware. I run it once a month, and with IE it would usually find about 30 every time. With the tab functions, surfing is easier and more seemless.
