Firefox rules and Internet Explorer drools!
Sorry, couldn't resist.
I am sure the statistics that are taken more accurately reflect the Windows using world (as I am pretty sure Safari outweighs that of Moz based browsers on the Mac). And quite frankly I am pleased with those percentages (read the linked article). I really hope more people start using Firefox over Internet Exploder.
I have converted WinIE using people to Firefox, and you can too! Fight the good fight people, yea, or something like that.

I'm not (yet) ready to make the changeover. Although it has some great plug-ins, (especially for webmasters) it still has some problems with HTML rendering that I can't live with. Bummer.
i've been using mozilla for years now.
the current version is solid and very fast.
sadly, most of the html rendering problems have to do with pages written for an IE-centric world.
maybe that'll change at some point down the road.
i do not get it? firefox? where is my ebay toolbar? where is my right click
"browse to" and ie spelling?
no thanks!
oh and i run adware and maybe get 3 or 4 hits in a weeks time
Last week the Mozilla Firefox Release Candidate 1 was released. The actual 1.0 release should be along in a month or so.

The real beauty of firefox lies in being able to create your own extensions.
Firefox (just like Mozilla before it) works fine except when you want to use any Microsoft products. I only use it on my Linux desktop - it works much better there.
I have made the switch and let me say I am staying with Firefox. It sits on top of the Windows OS and is not integrated within it, the main reason why it is a more stable browser. Another attraction of Firefox is that it is Open Source as opposed to a closed browser and despite being open source is much more secure. You can make it your own.

I made the change from IE to Firefox a few months ago and it has been the most significant best thing I have ever done with a computer since I learned to find porn. I ran my Lavasoft Adaware
again last night and it didn't find a single piece of spyware. I run it once a month, and with IE it would usually find about 30 every time. With the tab functions, surfing is easier and more seemless.
